New Senior High School Project to Commence in Fodome to Improve Education

The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has cut the sod for the commencement of a new Senior High School project in Fodome in the Hohoe Municipality to improve educational infrastructure in the region.

The project, expected to be completed within 12 months, will include a 2-storey dormitory block with a courtyard, 6 units of 2-bedroom semi-detached staff accommodations, and a 2-storey science laboratory complex.

The rest are 18-unit classroom blocks, a 2-storey administration block, a dining hall with kitchen facilities,12 units of 2-seater toilet facilities and a 3-bedroom headmaster’s bungalow.

Mr Gunu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing educational facilities across the Volta Region, emphasising that quality infrastructure was essential for academic success.

The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, acknowledged the collaboration among stakeholders and highlighted the project’s potential to transform educational experiences in the Hohoe Municipality, positioning the new school as a key player in advancing secondary education in the area.
