Public Relations Coordinating Division
Supports the Department by providing Public Relations services to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) and Ghana’s Foreign Missions.

The Public Relations Coordinating Division (PRCD) supports the Department by providing Public Relations services to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) and Ghana’s Foreign Missions.
Through the PR Management Unit and the Sector-Specific PR Reporting Unit, the Division implements publicity and advocacy strategies while providing technical assistance in media relations and stakeholder engagement.
The Division currently deploys eighty-eight (88) Public Relations Officers serving across government institutions.
Functions
- Provide PR professionals for MDAs and ensure effective service delivery.
- Support development and implementation of annual PR and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Collate and analyse PR reports across MDAs, RCCs and Missions abroad.
- Organise annual training and capacity building programmes for PROs.
- Undertake annual Public Relations Performance Evaluation Exercises.
Key Accomplishments
- Established the Bonsu Platform for real-time coordination of PRO activities.
- Organised the Government PR Excellence Awards (GoPREX).
- Supported annual RTI implementation reporting to Parliament.
- Institutionalised the PROs Virtual “Need-to-Know” Series.
