Ghana and Zambia Deepen Tech-Security Ties with Ghana Police

Ghana and Zambia have deepened Tech-Security ties with the Ghana Police Service in digital innovation, cybersecurity and science-driven development.

The talks focused on how digital tools can be leveraged to improve law enforcement efficiency, enhance intelligence gathering, and strengthen public safety systems.

This happened when the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, and Zambia’s Minister for Technology and Science, Felix C. Mutati, paid a courtesy call on the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Christian Tetteh-Yohuno, as part of ongoing Ghana–Zambia technology cooperation efforts.

During the engagement on Wednesday in Accra, the two delegations held discussions with the police leadership on the role of technology in modern policing.

The meeting also highlighted the growing importance of cross-border cooperation in addressing emerging security challenges in the digital era, with both sides expressing commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships in technology and innovation.
