August 12, 2025 Communication 0 CommentThe Cyber Security Authority has organised a Stakeholder Coordination Meeting as part of its efforts to promote Child Online Protection.
The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration, assess current interventions, and progress strategic initiatives to ensure a safer digital environment for children.
Speaking at the event last Friday in Accra, the Acting Deputy Director-General for Regulatory Operations, Dr. Jamal Seidu Tonzua, emphasised the need for collaborative support from stakeholders.
He noted that achieving the vision of a secure and empowering digital space for every Ghanaian child was a collective responsibility involving regulators, service providers, educators, parents, and advocates.
The event brought together key stakeholders, including UNICEF Ghana, UNODC, the Ghana Police Service, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the Ghana Education Service, Mobile Network Operators, and Civil Society Organisations.
Participants discussed and formulated action plans to enhance COP efforts under the National Child Online Protection Framework.
