The Office of the Registrar of Companies has announced plans to remove 318 companies from the companies register, citing non-compliance with the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992).
A release by the ORC on Thursday stated that affected firms were listed in Volume 40 of the ORC Companies Bulletin dated May 15, 2026. Unless the companies show cause why they should not be removed, they will be struck off the register after three months and subsequently dissolved.
“This publication forms part of the Office’s ongoing regulatory and compliance enforcement measures directed at ensuring the continued accuracy, integrity and dependability of the Register of Companies,” it read.
It said the ORC remains committed to ensuring compliance with Ghana’s corporate regulatory framework and to promoting high standards of corporate governance and business transparency.
