The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of the Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi from the 20th of February 2026.
In a release issued by the Ministry on Monday in Accra, it stated that all passport applicants, especially those with pending applications at the affected centres, should redirect their requests to the Regional Passport Application Centres for processing.
“Applicants who require further assistance have also been asked to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302 754 200,” it added.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured the general public of its commitment to deliver quality public service.
