The Deputy Director-General of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Mr. Suleman Salifu, has called for stronger collaboration between the technology ecosystems of Ghana and Zambia to accelerate digital transformation, innovation, and investment in both countries.
Speaking during a bilateral meeting between communication and technology sector representatives from Ghana and Zambia in Accra, Mr. Salifu emphasized the importance of deepening partnerships to unlock new opportunities in the digital space and promote shared growth.
He reaffirmed the NCA’s commitment to maintaining an enabling regulatory environment that encourages competition, innovation, and sustainable development within Ghana’s communications sector.
According to him, enhanced cooperation between the two countries would facilitate knowledge exchange, expand market access, and support the development of innovative solutions to address common challenges facing the digital economy.
Mr. Salifu further highlighted the Authority’s role in creating a conducive environment for investment and technological advancement, noting that Ghana remains open to strategic partnerships that strengthen its digital ecosystem.
He encouraged Zambian technology businesses to explore Ghana’s growing digital market, assuring them of the NCA’s readiness to support collaborations that drive innovation, create employment opportunities, and deliver mutual benefits for both nations.
