The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a Conference of Heads of Mission and Orientation Programme for Newly Appointed Envoys from September 1 to 5, 2025.
In a release issued by the Ministry on Saturday in Accra, it stated that, the event will be opened by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who will also launch Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Heads of Mission under the theme “Harnessing the Dividends of Diplomacy for Ghana’s Reset Agenda.”
“The purpose of the Conference is to prepare the Heads of Mission for their roles through briefings on key areas of national interest to deliver on Ghana’s foreign policy objectives aimed at ultimately improving the livelihood of our citizenry,” it stated.
It said that, to enhance the understanding of the Envoys for the discharge of their mandate in their respective jurisdictions, special sessions will be held with experts from key institutions of the country for knowledge sharing.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms its commitment to providing quality public service.
