Ghana to Deepen Ties with Grenada for Mutual Benefit

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to enhancing Grenada-Ghana relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.

He said this at the maiden session of Political Consultations on Thursday in Accra.

The minister expressed enthusiasm about the longstanding historical ties that bind the countries. “Our partnership is rooted in shared values and mutual respect. Ghana is committed to deepening these relations for the benefit of our peoples,” he said.

On his part, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada, Mr Joseph Andall, stated that there are trade and investment opportunities in both countries which could be explored by the private sector.

Both sides are expected to have comprehensive discussions on cooperation in the areas of tourism, culture and creative arts, health, education, climate change and disaster management, trade and investment, among others.
