Aflao Traditional Council engages Transport Minister on infrastructure and connectivity

Togbui Adzongaga Amenya Fiti V has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Transport, Mr. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, to discuss critical transport infrastructure needs within the Aflao Traditional Area.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry of Transport and traditional authorities to improve connectivity, promote economic growth, and accelerate development across the area.

During the engagement, both parties emphasized the importance of sustainable transport solutions in enhancing mobility and supporting livelihoods within communities in the traditional area.

Mr. Nikpe expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with traditional leaders and other stakeholders to address infrastructure gaps and deliver lasting improvements in the transport sector.

He noted that such partnerships are important to ensuring that development interventions are responsive to the needs of local communities and contribute meaningfully to national growth.
