Works and Housing Minister inspects NHF Housing Projects ahead of commissioning

The Minister for Works and Housing, Mr Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, has visited the sites of the National Homeownership Fund (NHF) housing projects at Shai Hills and Tema Community 22 to assess progress ahead of their commissioning later this month.

According to the Minister, construction of 50 two- and four-bedroom detached housing units at the Shai Hills NHF Estate has reached 98 per cent completion. He added that the NHF Estate at Tema Community 22 – Phase III, comprising 129 two- and three-bedroom houses, was also nearing completion at 95 per cent.

Mr Adjei noted that, ahead of the official commissioning at the end of March, the NHF will host a two-day Housing Fair from Wednesday, 4th March to Thursday, 5th March 2026, at the old Gender Ministry.

The fair will provide prospective homeowners with an opportunity to engage directly with estate developers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in the built industry to explore mortgage options and pathways to homeownership.
