Wasteman Ghana Meets Volta Regional Minister to Collaborate to Boost Sanitation Efforts

A delegation from Wasteman Ghana, led by CEO Mark Benjamin, has paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Mr James Gunu, to formally introduce the company and explore potential areas of collaboration to advance sanitation initiatives in the region.

The meeting was held on Tuesday at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council

Mr Gunu commended Wasteman Ghana for their proactive role in promoting a clean and safe environment, reaffirming the Council’s commitment to collaborate with the company to enhance sanitation across the region.

“We are committed to building a strong and productive partnership with Wasteman Ghana to support and sustain improved sanitation efforts in the Volta Region,” Mr Gunu said.

The delegation from Wasteman Ghana emphasised their expertise in structured waste collection, community education on responsible waste disposal, as well as their commitment to delivering practical and scalable solutions to improve sanitation outcomes while supporting local environmental goals.

The company, which has been operating for the past four years, applauded Mr Gunu’s commitment to strengthening waste management systems and promoting environmental sustainability.

The meeting demonstrated a shared commitment to addressing critical challenges in the sanitation sector and promoting a clean and safe environment in the Volta Region.
