President John Dramani Mahama has promised to make funds available to complete the new Western Regional Hospital at Apemanim in the Ahanta West District in 18 months.
The President made the promise when he visited the site of the hospital on Tuesday.
The project which started in 2022 was abandoned in 2023.
The project is a 250-bed, five floors structure that will among others have modern surgical, ICU, blood bank, laboratories and pharmacies, children, maternity, female and male medical and surgical wards.
