President John Dramani Mahama spent his 67th birthday on Saturday bringing cheer to young patients at two Accra healthcare facilities.
Joined by his wife and children, the President visited LEKMA Hospital and Maamobi Polyclinic, where he distributed gifts and cash donations to children undergoing treatment and their parents.
He also recognized the dedication of medical staff with monetary contributions.
The visits lifted spirits among the young patients and their families, who warmly received the President’s gesture.
During his time at LEKMA Hospital, President Mahama arranged for a young girl to be referred to the University of Ghana Medical Centre for specialized treatment.
Healthcare workers at both facilities expressed appreciation for the President’s recognition of their work and for his decision to mark his birthday alongside them and their patients.
