Nestlé Ghana’s New Managing Director Pays a Courtesy Call on Labour Minister

The newly appointed Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Limited, Ms Salomé Azevedo, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Labour, Jobs and Employment, Dr Rashid Pelpuo, aimed at strengthening public-private collaboration and reaffirming their commitment to Ghana’s socio-economic development.

During the meeting, the Minister commended Nestlé Ghana not only for its high-quality food products but also for its significant contribution to employment in the country.

“It’s not just about the products you make, but the many Ghanaian workers you empower through job creation and skills development,” he said.

On her part, Ms Salomé Azevedo expressed her appreciation for the Minister’s support and emphasised Nestlé’s dedication to creating shared value through nutrition, sustainability, and youth empowerment.

She extended a formal invitation to the Minister to visit Nestlé’s state-of-the-art production facility in Tema, where the company manufactures a range of popular products, including Milo, Cerelac, and Nescafé.
