The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has urged the Ghanaian delegation attending the inaugural International Forum “Invest in Burkina Faso” (FIIBF) to represent the country excellently and seize opportunities to showcase Ghana’s trade and investment potential.
The FIIBF, scheduled for October 9, 2025, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is expected to provide a platform for networking, exchanging expertise, and highlighting investment incentives and reforms aimed at boosting cooperation among regional and international stakeholders.
Speaking at a pre-departure engagement with the delegation in Accra on Monday, Mrs Ofosu-Adjare reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and deepening business collaboration across West Africa.
She encouraged the team, led by Deputy Trade Minister Mr Sampson Ahi, to engage actively, showcase Ghanaian products, and pursue partnerships that will yield long-term benefits for both nations.
“Our business community is eager to participate in this forum, not only to exhibit our products but also to deepen engagement beyond this event,” Mrs Ofosu-Adjare stated, urging the delegation to project Ghana’s values of innovation, resilience, and enterprise.
The Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Ghana, H. E David Kabré, commended Ghana for its active involvement, noting that the presence of the Deputy Minister and the delegation was a significant honour.
He emphasised that Ghana’s involvement demonstrates its continued commitment to regional integration and sustainable development within the sub-region.
