Ghana Gold Board dismiss false allegation by Asase Radio

The Gold Board has responded to an article published by Assase Radio alleging that it has recorded losses in excess of GHC3 billion in its first year of operations as entirely false.

“The Gold Board wishes to put on record that the publication by the radio station is entirely false and deliberately framed to undermine the successes and significant contribution of the GoldBod to the betterment of Ghana’s economy”. The public relations unit stated.

The unit said the Gold Board has been making significant Profit since its establishment hence the quarterly financial statements of the GoldBod will be published soon on the official website of the statutory corporation, which will support the truth.

The Ghana Gold Board urges the public to treat Asaase radio’s false publication with the highest contempt and demands that the station’s management issue an unconditional apology to the public for this dishonest and unethical publication.
