Ghana has written a bilateral debt agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany, to help build up the substructure of fiscal stability and anchor permanent economic advancement under the country’s ongoing debt restructuring programme
Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson recounts the agreement as an important milestone in Ghana’s economic recovery journey.
The Minister expressed acknowledgement to the Government and people of Germany for their continued partnership and confidence in Ghana’s future, adding that the agreement reflects the strong collaboration between the two countries.
German Ambassador to Ghana, Frederik Landshöft, congratulated Dr. Forson and applauded the government for the progress made in stabilizing the economy and reassured Ghana of Germany’s commitment to intensify its bilateral and economic cooperation. s
