The Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku, Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, has donated 2,765 Nataraj Mathematical Sets to support candidates preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the District.
The items were presented to the Shai-Osudoku Education Directorate on Thursday for onward distribution to final-year Junior High School students across the area.
Speaking during the presentation, the Minister expressed confidence in the candidates’ ability to perform well in the upcoming examination and urged them to remain focused and work diligently to achieve excellent results that would bring pride to the District.
Mrs Ocloo also disclosed that her Education Fund is set to reward academic excellence among students in the constituency hence a total of GH¢10,000 has been earmarked for disbursement to outstanding candidates as part of efforts to motivate and support academic achievement in the District.
