The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has visited the new offices of the National Film Authority (NFA), now situated within the Bureau of Languages compound and urged staff to remain optimistic.
The visit follows the recent fire outbreak at the Accra Tourist Information Centre (ATIC), which destroyed several offices, including those of the NFA.
“It was devastating to lose the space, but thankfully, there were no casualties,” she said, assuring workers that the government would be taking steps to restore the ATIC facility and ensure that operations continue smoothly.
The Ministers further highlighted the need for stronger fire safety measures and the importance of property insurance in protecting public assets.
