President John Dramani Mahama has left Ghana for a diplomatic tour that will take him to the United Kingdom and Switzerland for high-level meetings on national and international economic matters.
The announcement was made by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a statement released by the Presidency on Sunday.
The President departed Accra on Sunday, January 11, 2026, for the United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to meet with coordinators of the Accra Reset Initiative, a key policy framework for his administration.
From the UK, President Mahama will travel to Davos, Switzerland, to participate in a session of the World Economic Forum, the annual gathering that brings together global political and business leaders to discuss pressing economic and social challenges.
