
NORINCO delegation visits the Defence Ministry
December 4, 2025 Defence 0 CommentA four-member delegation from China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) visited the Ministry of Defence, showcasing a wide range of military technologies to support the country’s evolving defence needs.
Speaking during the meeting on Wednesday, in Accra, the Deputy Minister for Defence, Mr Ernest Brogya Genfi, stated the importance of the engagement, noting that it would enable the Ministry to carefully evaluate the proposed systems and determine their relevance to Ghana’s current and long-term security priorities.
Representing the Government of Ghana, the Economic Advisor to the President and former Minister for Finance, Mr Seth Terkper, commended NORINCO for its interest in deepening defence cooperation.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to exploring strategic partnerships that enhance national security, strengthen operational readiness, and support the ongoing modernisation of the Ghana Armed Forces.
The visit forms part of continued efforts by the Ministry of Defence to assess global defence technologies and identify opportunities that align with Ghana’s defence and security architecture.
