The Embassy of Ghana, Washington, D.C., as part of a series of targeted investment campaigns and community outreaches in the USA, will be in California to attract American capital into key sectors of Ghana’s economy.
The Ghana-California Roundtable is led by Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, Victor E. Smith, with a team of experts.
Recognising California as a global centre for innovation, finance, and enterprise offers substantial potential for partnerships that could promote growth in Ghana’s key sectors such as technology, agriculture, energy, and manufacturing. This offers viable, competitive opportunities for American investors looking to expand into West Africa.
One of the highlights of the California campaign to deepen economic diplomacy and strengthen bilateral trade relations between Ghana and the USA will be the Town Hall meeting with the diaspora, dubbed “Empowering the Next Generation of Diaspora Investors and Streamlining Consular Services”. The meeting will ensure that diaspora contributions will go beyond remittances to include skills, technology transfer and global business networks.
