Accra Gets Boost in Public Education with New Audio-Visual Van

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has received a state-of-the-art audio-visual information van from the Information Services Department (ISD) to enhance public education and community engagement across the metropolis.

Mayor of Accra, Mr Michael Kpakpo Allotey, thanked the government and ISD for the intervention, emphasising the need for effective communication in governance.

He assured that the Assembly would utilise the van for its intended purpose by supporting government business and public education, and not for private or commercial use.

The new vehicle is equipped with advanced technology, including a high-powered public address system, LED screens, and internal WiFi, allowing it to broadcast live government feeds, educational materials, and emergency information in real-time.

The van is expected to play a key role in disseminating vital information to Accra residents, promoting transparency and civic engagement.
