President Mahama Arrives in Kenya for State Visit

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Nairobi for an official state visit following an invitation from Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto.

The Ghanaian leader touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at midnight, where Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, and other senior government officials received him.

President Mahama exchanged greetings with the welcoming delegation upon arrival.

During the visit, the President will serve as Guest of Honour at Kenya’s Jamhuri Day celebrations, a national event commemorating the country’s independence and showcasing its cultural heritage.

President Ruto will host him to a luncheon following the celebrations.

The President was accompanied by Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President, and Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations.

President Mahama is scheduled to depart Kenya on Saturday.
