The Media Division produces and disseminates media content related to government programmes and activities through various formats including news stories, feature articles and audio-visual materials. These materials are distributed through departmental platforms, mainstream media and digital channels to ensure the public receives accurate and timely information on government policies and national development initiatives.
The Newsroom and Channels Unit plays a key role in producing and broadcasting accurate and timely information on government programmes. It supports national communication efforts through consistent reporting aimed at informing and engaging the public.
The Audio-Visual Unit is mandated to develop and promote public understanding of government programmes and activities through documentaries, infographics, photographs, posters and other communication materials. The Unit comprises the Videos Desk, Photos Desk and Exhibitions/Design Desk.
The Photos Desk is responsible for the coverage of Ministers’ press briefings, state events, MMDAs engagements and other official government activities. It also provides high-quality photographs for official publications and national communication needs.
The Videos Desk develops concepts, plans, produces and edits documentaries and films for public education campaigns. It also provides video coverage and live streaming services for public and private events.
The Exhibitions/Design Desk organises high-profile exhibitions on government programmes and achievements. It supports national events through branding, decor and official displays to strengthen public awareness and national identity.
