The Human Resource Division of the Information Services Department (ISD) has organised a breast cancer awareness campaign for staff as part of activities to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Head of the Division, Mrs. Augustina E. Agyeman, led a team to visit various offices within the Department to educate staff about breast cancer detection, prevention, and the importance of regular screening.
During the campaign, staff received pink ribbons, the universal symbol for breast cancer awareness to show solidarity to those affected by the disease.
Staff were informed about the risk factors, early warning signs and the importance of seeking medical attention promptly when changes are noticed.
