Obuasi East RTI Officer Sensitized NSP and Congregation on RTI Act

The Obuasi East Right to Information Officer, Mr. Collins Korankye Oppong, has sensitized National Service Personnel and the congregation of Shalom Baptist Temple in Kwabrafoso.

Mr. Oppong enlightened participants on the Act and its importance in promoting good governance and accountability. He explained that the RTI Act gives citizens the right to access information held by public institutions, which can be used to hold the government to account and improve public services.

Mr. Oppong also discussed the different ways in which citizens can request information under the RTI Act, and the fees that may be charged.
