Ghana Digital Acceleration Project (GDAP) Welcomes World Bank Delegation to support Digital Acceleration Project

The Project Coordination Unit of the Ghana Digital Acceleration Project (GDAP) has welcomed a high-profile delegation from the World Bank to support its digital acceleration initiatives.

The focus on discussion was on strengthening Ghana’s competitiveness in Artificial Intelligence (AI), expanding digital job opportunities, improving public sector digitalization, and deepening cybersecurity resilience.

The group engaged with the GDAP Project Coordination Unit and conducted a technical visit to the Cyber Security Authority’s National CERT facility.

The delegation, led by Regional Practice Director for Digital Development, Michel Rogy, included Program Manager for Digital Transformation, Jana Kunicová, and Senior Digital Governance Specialist, Steve Davenport.

The World Bank team commended the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations (MoCDTI) and the GDAP Project Coordination Unit for the remarkable progress made in advancing Ghana’s digital initiatives. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the country’s Digital Transformation journey.
